(QNO) - The 13th International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City 2017 (ITE HCMC), from September 7 to 9, was an opportunity for travel agencies to introduce destinations to visitors, look for partners at home and abroad.

The 13th ITE HCMC 2017 with the theme “ Your Gateway to Tourism in Asia” was considered a prestigious major event in the region in particular and in the world as a whole. This expo attracted the participation of more than 700 international travel businesses with 300 booths and tourism promotion agencies from 18 countries and territories in the world. Besides, the ITE HCMC 2017 welcomed 300 guests from 40 countries and territories such as the United States, France, Italia, Germany, China, Japan, India, Taiwan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, the ASEAN, Iran, Iraq, South Africa, Nepal and international media agencies.
There are 9 Quang Nam’s travel units taking part in the ITE HCMC 2017 including Hoi An Group, Palm Garden, Hoi An Silk Marina, Silk Sense Hoi An River Resort. They brought new and specific products to the event. According to Director of the Quang Nam Tourism Promotion and Information Center Phan Van Tu, the expo is a chance not only for businesses to introduce their products, access to the potential partners but also for Quang Nam to introduce its new destinations, especially in the Southern region.
Director of Sales &Marketing at Palm Garden Truong Minh Toan said the businesses’ success via the travel expo depends on their preparations including product introduction, information transmitted to partners professionally and attractively. His company participated in the event to look for new customers and renew the business’s trade name to keep traditional customers.
