(QNO)- The Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) trade agreement has great attraction to foreign investors in textile and garment in Quang Nam province.

The groundbreaking ceremony of 14 million USD-Amann - Vietnam sewing thread factory with the capacity of 350 tons per year took place in Tam Thang Industrial Park, Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province in July, 2018 by German Amann Group. It is a project of investment incentives in the strategy to develop textile and apparel industry of Quang Nam province. Amann Group is one of the three leading corporations in the world specializing in manufacturing and distributing garment products and embroidery threads.
This German factory will be officially put into operation in June, 2019. It is one of 15 investment projects in Tam Thang Industrial Park (13 FDI projects and 2 domestic ones) with a total investment capital of more than 199 million USD and 275 billion VND.

Dozens of FDI (foreign direct investment) projects on textile, dyeing and garment have been licensed by Quang Nam province in the period of 2013-2015. Mr. Han Chul Joo- Assistant General Director of MTV PANKO TAM THANG Co., Ltd. said investors chose Quang Nam thanks to the synchronous infrastructure in its industrial parks, advantages in transport, skillful labourers. The project of PANKO TAM THANG Company in Tam Thang Industrial Park has a total investment capital of 70 million USD.
Up to now, Quang Nam has attracted 15 FDI projects of garment and textile including large-scale projects such as a factory in Dai An - Dai Loc Industrial Cluster (invested by Groz-Beckert Group) with a total investment capital of 45 million euros, Duck San Vina with 10 million USD in Tam Ky city, Sedo Vinako (South Korea) with more than 8.7 million USD in Duy Xuyen.
