Start-up from mountainous specialities

(QNO) - Ms. Thao’s idea of start-up was sparked off when she tried the wine of kakun made by herself.

Ms. Thao’s products are from local mountainous specialities. They are dry forest shoots, pepper, mushrooms and wine made from precious medicinal plants. After a 2-year journey of looking for quality and markets, Ms. Thao has ensured the values and the outputs of her products, confirming her brand name “Thu Thao” not only in Quang Nam but in many other places nationwide including Ha Noi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh cities.

Her success has resulted from her efforts, creativeness, and no fear of difficulties. She can go to the farthest villages through forests and mountains in order to collect their local products for her raw materials. When customers ask, she can ship her products to anywhere no matter how far it is.

Her enterprise is now a familiar address where visitors can find something special or mountainous specialties as souvenirs or gifts. She is also planning to enlarge her production, employ the locals to help improve their income.
