Overseas travellers entering Vietnam are all required to be kept in a 14-day quarantine as from March 21.

According to the direction of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, a 14-day quarantine is required for all overseas arrivals in Vietnam as of 0:00 March 21.

All the cases of diplomatic and public duties will be quarantined in diplomatic agencies or in accommodations under the local health supervision.

All passengers on international flights to Vietnam are also required to fill in health declarations and to measure their body temperature. Cleaning and disinfection of aircrafts is also done in regulations.

Airport authorities are responsible for managing all the activities at the airport to ensure passengers’ security, safe and convenience.

Besides, due to the limitation of isolated areas in Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat international airports, international flights arriving in Vietnam have to land at Van Don, Can Tho, Phu Cat and other international airports arranged by Vietnamese aviation authorities.
