(QNO) - A delegation of the Lao Front for National Construction Committee (LFNCC) led by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Som Ock Kingsada paid a visit to the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Quang Nam province on August 30 in order to exchange experiences between the two fronts.

The visit was a practical activity as part of the short-term training course for officials of the LFNCC held by VFF Central Committee in Da Nang city from August 20 to September 6.

At the event, Mr. Nguyen Phi Hung expressed his pleasure to work with the Lao delegation and briefed his guests about some key information of Quang Nam’s socio-economic development, of the provincial VFF’s organizational structure and performance. He also stated that the organization has effectively represented the legitimate rights and benefits of the people thanks to its structure. The Quang Nam Front is currently structured at three levels: province, districts/cities and communes/wards. There are 1,718 basic front boards, 4 councils of consultants, and 5 specialized boards and offices.
At the same time, Mr. Hung talked about the exchanges between Quang Nam and Sekong provincial fronts, including training Sekong staffs and experiences exchanges with them. These activities have contributed to the close relationship between Quang Nam and Sekong provinces.

Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Som Ock Kingsada, Vice President of the LFNCC thanked the Quang Nam VFF Committee for creating conditions for the Lao delegation to work in Quang Nam and for Quang Nam’s helps to Sekong provincial people and cadres. He also congratulated Quang Nam on its achievements.
Also on this occasion, the information of religious management, ethnic affairs, the Vietnamese abroad, and disaster relief was discussed and shared.
