(QNO) - The Nguyen dynasty documents and some documents related to the Vietnam’s sovereignty over the two archipelagos Paracel and Spratly will be exhibited in Quang Nam province from 22-28 August 2014.

The exhibition entitled “Vietnam’s sovereignty over the two archipelagos Paracel and Spratly- historical and legal evidences” will introduce to the public the Nguyen dynasty official documents, 5 maps, 4 Atlas, proving Vietnam’s continuous sovereignty over the two archipelagos Paracel and Spratly and indicating that these two archipelagos have never been under China’s control.
In addition, the exhibition will introduce 102 printed materials related to two archipelagos Paracel and Spratly published worldwide in the 18th and 19th centuries, under the French colonist domination and the Republic of Vietnam government, the images of the Paracel Marine Team, the Feast and Commemoration Festival for Hoang Sa Soldiers organised in Ly Son island (Quang Ngai province).
A collection of shells and sand samples which has been taken from Paracel and Spratly by Vietnamese fishermen will also be displayed. After the exhibition, all documents and objects will be gifted to the Quang Nam Museum.
