(QNO) - The Voice of the Future (VOF) forum occurring from November 6 to 11 is an exchange of about 180 delegates from 21 APEC member economies. It is about on the future of the region.

On the first day, the forum talked about the issues of global climate change, gender equality, the 4th Industrial Revolution, youth dialogue and cooperation, employment, start-up, human resources development, and sustainable growth. All the discussions are under the common theme of creating new dynamism, fostering a shared future, which is really impressive to the young delegates. Some of the problems they are especially interested in are global climate change – challenges and solutions, start-up and employment.
On this occasion, the Vietnamese representatives are always creating opportunities for cultural exchanges and introducing the images of Vietnam- country, people and food culture to international representatives. Especially, there will be an art performance exchange taking place in Hoi An city, Quang Nam province.
A "borderless" arm
The VOF delegates visited Peace village (Tan Dan commune, Phu Ninh district) and Tam Thanh mural village (Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province) on November 7.
At the Peace village, the delegates played with the disabled children, brought them some small gifts such as candies or flowers made of paper and silk. At the same time, international representatives taught the children here some traditional dances, which made the atmosphere become exciting.
On this occasion, Jame Soh- Co-chair of the APEC VOF mentioned a youth family. According to this chair, APEC youths, the future leaders of the APEC should be aware of a shared future because the world will be more and more connected. The prosperity of each country would depend on the common contributions from all of ours, he added.
For visiting Tam Thanh mural village, it was a new experience for the VOF delegates. The village brought some of them the ideas of frescos applied to their home-lands.
Besides, the delegation also visited and experiencing making lanterns in Hoi An city.
