Chu lai Open Economic Zone attracts Korean investors


(QNO) - A delegation of the Hyosung Group (Korea) has recently visited and worked  with the Management Board of the  Chu lai Open Economic Zone (Chu Lai OPEZ) to find the opportunities for investment and market extension in the Central region.

Hyosung is one of 15 biggest economic groups of the Republic of Korea, especially in producing spandex, nylon, steel threads and fabric for making automobile tyres… It has invested a factory worth 1 million USD  with over 6,000 workers in Nhon Trach Industrial Zone (IZ) of Dong Nai province….

After surveying the Tam Thang IZ,  Chu Lai-Truong Hai Auto Mechanical industrial park, Tam Hiep Port Industrial and Logistic park  of the Chu Lai OPEZ, Mr Han Jae Jin, Consultant of Hyosung Group, was very pleased with the favourable location and available infrastructure of the  Chu Lai OPEZ.

“We are planing to build another factory as same as the one in Nhon Trach IZ to extend our market in the Central region. The Chu Lai OPEZ is the one we are looking for to develop production and trading. We hope and believe in the feasibility of the project. We will  study to carry out the  investment project  in the near future,” Mr Han Jae Jin said.

“We will create the most favourable  conditions  to the Hyosung Group and go along with it in implementing the project,” said Mr Pham An, Deputy Head of the Managing Board of the Chu Lai OPEZ.
