(QNO) - On 15 January, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai, Secretary of Quang Nam provincial Party Committee received and worked with Mrs. Preeti Saran, Indian Ambassador to Vietnam.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai once again affirmed that the Indian people’s help and supports to Vietnam in the struggle for national liberation and freedom in the past and the friendly relationship and strategic cooperation in all fields at present have expressed a respectful solidarity between the two countries and peoples.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai hoped that Mrs. Preeti Saran and Indian government continue to support Quang Nam province with student grants, training human resources in all fields as well as promoting tourism and cultural exchanges. Hoi An city and Duy Xuyen district have twinned with Indian cities. He also expected Mrs. Preeti Saran to introduce Quang Nam province to Indian enterprises for investment and for My Son Sanctuary preservation. Quang Nam province will create the most favourable conditions for Indian enterprises to invest in industrial parks and the Chu Lai Open Industrial Zone.

Mrs. Preeti Saran thanked for the warm welcome of the Quang Nam province’s leaders. She affirmed that it was a deep impression to further the relationship between Indian Embassy and Quang Nam province. She promised to do her best to boost the cooperation between India and Vietnam governments and Quang Nam province in tourism promotion, especially My Son Sanctuary and Hoi An Ancient town. She and Indian government will create conditions to grant scholarships, English and Information technology training as well as other branches according to Quang Nam’s demands. She will introduce Quang Nam‘s projects to Indian enterprises for investment and propose Indian engineers to survey My Son Sanctuary to preserve in the 1st quarter of 2015.
