(QNO) - With the approval of Quang Nam People’s Committee, the project “Subsistence diversification by heritage tourism in the remote fishery and agricultural villages” funded by JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) has just been presided over by Hoi An city People’s Committee.
Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Showa Women’s University, Quang Nam Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development also take part in this project. The project aims to survey the fishery and agricultural areas in the heritage lands to suggest and carry out tourism activities for community subsistence. With the advantages of the World Biosphere Reserve, rivers, sea and the traditional craft villages, richness of natural resources and humanity, Hoi An is expected to bring about many positive results.
