Enhancing Quang Nam-Nagasaki friendship and cooperation


(QNO) - Vice Chairman of Quang Nam provincial People’s Council Nguyen Hoang Minh has just played host to the delegation from Nagasaki provincial Parliament led by its Head of Policy Research Honda Kazuto. The meeting aimed to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on friendship cooperation and exchange between the People’s Councils of Quang Nam and Nagasaki provinces in the coming time.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of Hoi An city Party Committee Tran Anh informed of the openings of the ancient Japanese merchant ship exhibition in Nguyen Thi Minh Khai street, Hoi An city on 10 November and the Vietnam-Japan cultural space to welcome the 2017 APEC Economic Leaders’ Week. According to Deputy Chairman Minh, the MoU signed will contribute to mutual understanding, closer friendship and cooperation between two provinces in particular, Vietnam and Japan in general.

In reply, Mr. Honda Kazuto said Chairman of Nagasaki province’s Parliament Yae Toshiharu will visit Quang Nam in November, participating in the opening of the Vietnam-Japan cultural space in Hoi An, and discuss the signing of the MoU between the provinces with Chairman of Quang Nam People’s Council Nguyen Ngoc Quang.
