(QNO) - As a part of Hoi An International Food Festival 2016 (March 14th-21st), the exchange programme themed “Taste the World” among 12 chefs from 12 countries has just taken place in Cho Pho restaurant (Hoi An city, Quang Nam province).
Chefs from Germany, Russia, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Slovenia, Maritius, Italia, France, Greece, India, Britain performed how to cook their national traditional food to exchange with other chefs, especially with world’s master chef Thomas Gugler.

This is the first time the International Food Festival has been organized in Hoi An city. It helps to propagate Hoi An city’s trade name of food and its images of culture and tourism to tourists around the world. Besides, the local chefs have an opportunity to improve their skillfulness by exchanging their experiences with international culinary specialists in this festival.

Especially, after this food exchange, all the local and international chefs in the festival will prepare meals for some restaurants Du Thuyen, Rau Muong Xanh, Lua, Xoai I, Xoai II, Tam Tam, Vinh Hung, La Chuoi…in Hoi An city along with many other activities until 21 March.
