Hoi An city was voted the second-best city in Asia

(QNO) - It’s official result of the 26th annual vote by Conde Nast Traveler magazine’s readers which was announced on October 16th 2013 in New York (USA). Kyoto and Tokyo of Japan placed the  first position. In 2012, Hoi An city was  also in the top 10 best city of the world.

The 10 cities under consideration were Kyoto and Tokyo in Japan, Hoi An in Viet Nam, Ubub in Indonesia, Luang Prabang in Laos, Singapore, Chiang Mai and Bangkok in Thailand, Hong Kong in China and Siem Reap in Cambodia.

Another Conde Nast Traveler survey named the city's Hotel & Spa The Nam Hai the top resort in Asia in 2013.

According to Conde Nast Traveler, this year, more than  79,000 readers cast 1.3 million votes for 16,000 properties nominated by this US famous magazine. The ranking was based on culture, friendliness, atmosphere, restaurants, lodging and shopping.
