Improving the quality of My Son Sanctuary Tourism

(QNO) - In order to raise the tourism quality and meet the  tourists’ demands, in 2015, the Management Board of My Son Relics and Tourism invested over 21 billion VND ( about 2 million USD) to improve the infrastructure  of this World cultural  heritage, including grading up the main roads  from Khe The bridge to the temples and towers and inner transits, buying 6 electric tramcars to transport tourists to the sightseeing zones, building tickets checking gates, commemorative photo taking shop, restrooms... Besides, the Cham folk art is also performed  twice a day (at 10 AM and 3 PM).

These activities have made My Son Sanctuary site more charming and unique in tourists’ eyes, the number of visitors to My Son has been rising steadily. In 2015 nearly 270 thousand tourists came to My Son, up 20% year-by-year.

Reportedly, since 1st January 2016, the entrance ticket fee for sightseeing the My Son Sanctuary has increased from 100,000 to 150,000 VND for international and from 60,000 to 100,000 VND for domestic visitors.
