International journalists to visit Hoi An Ancient town


(QNO) - In the “Trans-Vietnam journey to explore the country’s tourism potential” to be held next week by the  Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, foreign journalists of 12 media and travel agencies from Korea, France, Indonesia and Taiwan will participate this journey and visit Hoi An Ancient town.  

The Quang Nam and Hoi An authorities and Tourism sections have made a best sightseeing programme to meet the demand of the tour organizers and participants, particularly introduce the most attractive destinations and new eco-tourism products. Hoi An city expects this “Trans-Vietnam journey” will be an good opportunity to promote its tourism potential and attract  more tourists to this World Cultural Heritage in the future.

In addition, a number of travel agencies in Japan are organising an independent Famtour of Vietnam in late July with the participation of some Japanese leading tourism companies. Reportedly, in the first half of this year, Quang Nam  province greeted over 1.7 million visitors, up 6.2 percent against the same period of 2014.
