(QNO) - According to Dr Chu Manh Trinh (The Cham Island Marine Park, a World Biosphere Reserve recognized by UNESCO), after three years of implementation, two campaigns “Say no with plastic bags” and “Classifying  waste at the resource” in Tan Hiep commune (Hoi An city, Quang Nam province) achieved good results and created favourable condition for young coral reefs to grow naturally at the rocky cliff of the Lang beach.

“The young coral reef growth in the water regions near the seashore of Cham Island is the result from local people’s excellent treatment to the nature. If local residents and tourists continue to implement well the above campaigns, the coral reefs over here will continue to develop sustainably,” Dr Trinh confirmed.
