Provincial leaders welcomed chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee of Republic of Korea

(QNO) - On 12th January 2013,  in Nui Thanh district (Quang Nam province), Mr Ahan Hong Joon, chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee of the Republic of Korea visited Quang Nam province and had a warm and friendly meeting with the leaders of the province and the Quang Nam Central General Hospital. Mr Nguyen Duc Hai, Secretary of  the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee and Mr Le Phuoc Thanh, chairman of the Quang Nam People’s Committee attended the meeting.

Mr Thanh introduced briefly to visitors  the general situation and achievements on social  and economic developments of Quang Nam province. He also thanked the significant  helps of the Republic of Korea’s government and the KOCA Foundation in supporting finance to build 10 schools and hospitals in Quang Nam province. Mr Thanh expected, in the future, Mr Ahan Hong Joon will create a bridge between Quang Nam province,  the Republic of Korea’s government and the KOCA Foundation for helping Quang Nam in training doctors and supporting health care equipments. The Quang Nam authority will create favourable conditions in promoting and investing into Quang Nam for Korean enterprises, particularly in power resource training field and investment cooperation at the Vietnam-Korea Industrial Zone in the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone.

Mr Ahan Hong Joon confirmed that the Republic of Korea’s government has paid more attention to the projects invested to serve social welfare and10 elementary schools built in Quang Nam, as well as the friendship and the cooperation between two sides. He promised to do his best to strengthen and  develop the friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Republic of  Korea, especially in culture exchange, workshop organization for training doctors and  health care technicians for Quang Nam province.
