Provincial leaders worked with JICA's delegation

(QNO) - On December 11th, Mr Dinh Van Thu, the Standing Vice Chairman of Quang Nam People’s Committee worked with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) led by Mr Shibata- JICA Global Environment Department, and discussed about the project of improving water quality in Japanese Bridge, Hoi An city.

Mr Dinh Van Thu appreciated the practicability and significance of this project in conserving and promoting the World Heritage Hoi An values, especially Japanese Bridge.

After surveying and assessing environmental impacts, JICA experts and Hoi An made contents of “Improving water quality in Japanese Bridge” project. The representative of JICA said that the effective cooperation between Hoi An city and Quang Nam province has helped them quickly complete the reports and submit to the Japanese Government for approving the budget.

Some detailed contents of this project such as design, capital…were also discussed in this event. This project will be implemented after the project’s budget will be approved by the Japanese Government. The project will be expectedly completed in April, 2017.
