(QNO) - Special cultural identities such as Classical dramma (Tuồng), Choi singing (Bài Chòi) will be presented at the 12th Hoi An-Japan Cultural Exchange Festival in Japan’s Sakai City of Osaka prefecture. This annual event, which has been celebrated in Hoi An 11 times, is first held in Japan on 18-19 October.

Accordingly, Hoi An city will send 40 artists to Japan to introduce Vietnam’s and Quang Nam province’s land and people as well as the achievements of economic, cultural and social cooperation between two countries. Special cultural identities, such as Quang Nam folklore, traditional music, classical drama, traditional games, and Quang Nam cuisines will also be on display in this Cultural Exchange.
The programme will be co-organised by the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association and the Sakai International Exchange Association. Hoi An city will also attend Vietnam Cultural Day in Nagasaki, Japan, which will be held on June 25.
