Quang Nam's leaders welcome Nagasaki's delegation


(QNO) - On 12 August, Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Le Van Thanh received and worked with the delegation from Nagasaki Prefecture of Japan, led by Mr Matsukawa Hisakazu, Head of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Nagasaki.

Mr Le Van Thanh introduced to the delegates the significant social and economic achievements, the strengths and potentials of Quang Nam province and its strategy for investment attraction in the new situation.

The significant and positive supports of the Japanese government to Quang Nam  in past time have contributed to the development in many fields of this central province. Mr Thanh hopes and expects that the 400 year traditional and friendly relationship between Quang Nam and Nagasaki will be enriched and deepened in the future.

Quang Nam province is looking for investment and supports from Nagasaki’s investors in the process of aquaculture, mechanical engineering, supporting industry, navigation as well as in training high quality human resource, preserving and and restoring cultural and historical relics…

Mr Matsukawa Hisakazu thanked for the warm greeting of the Quang Nam provincial leaders and expressed his belief on the strengths and potentials of Quang Nam which will be the key points to create the positive relationship and cooperation between Quang Nam and Nagsaki. The delegates would like the relevant departments and agencies of two provinces to meet together soon to talk and sign the memorandum of cooperation agreement. As an immediate task, Nagasaki authority will survey before investing capital to build the infrastructure of the deep water sea port dock at the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone.
