Sejong foreign language center opened

This center was jointly opened on March 6th by South Korea’s International Lotus Village organization (SILV) and Tam Ky People’s Committee. At the same time, the groundbreaking ceremony of nursery and vocational schools in the Lotus village’s educational welfare complex in An Phu ward (Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province) also took place.

The project of Lotus village’s complex is funded by the SILV organization with a total non-refundable investment capital of 4.5 million USD. Besides the foreign language center, preschool, vocational school, the complex also consists of a clinic and a health care center for the elderly… The Sejong foreign language center coming into operation can help Tam Ky city’s students and residents to learn about South Korean culture and  language. In addition, it is more favourable for South Korean businesses to recruit local employees.

In the opening ceremony of Sejong foreign language center, Rotary Club gave 18 million VND of scholarship to this center and supported 1.3 billion VND of cardiac surgery to Quang Nam’s Sponsoring Association for the disabled, orphans and poor patients.
