(QNO) - The 3rd Annual Meeting 2014 between Dalseo district and Tam Ky city (Quang Nam province, Viet Nam) has recently taken place at Dalseo (Republic of Korea).

Since the contract of cooperation in July 2011, several support programs that are very practical and significant to Tam Ky and Dalseo’s locals have been deployed.
In early 2012, Dalseo gave two poor famers in Tam Ky a support of 87 million VND to buy plows. An agreement of education cooperation was signed by Seongdang (Dalseo) and Tran Quoc Toan (Tam Ky) primary schools. Dalseo also visited and gave gifts to miserable families in some communes Tam Phu, Tam Thang …

At the 3rd Annual Meeting 2014, Mr. Nguyen Van Lua – Chairman of Tam Ky city’s People’s Committee highly appreciates Dalseo’s practical supports. He also desires to keep popularizing and promoting investments practically and actively for both-side benefits. The Meeting also discusses and agrees to raise the Dalseo - Tamky relationship to a higher level of business cooperation. According to Mr. Jin Yeong Howan, Chairman of Dalseo District’s Businessmen Association, they will survey Tam Ky market, invest a high quality industrial zone producing electric, electronic, civilian – industrial building products; concurrently, as a head of the association, he will actively call for investment in Tam Ky’s textile and garment, leather shoes and high-end items processing… Besides, Mr. Jin Yeong Howan suggested that Tam Ky should soon have clean grounds with over 100 ha each, reasonable and legal incentive mechanisms which can ensure the legitimate and sustainable benefits of S. Korean businesses and economic profits to attract investors.

Two sides agree to give scholarships to a few cadres for learning Vietnamese and Korean, which helps increase exchanges between Seongdang and Tran Quoc Toan primary schools. In addition, the cooperation of introduction, popularization and association of the local universities and colleges needs to be increased in order to improve high-quality human sources of the city. Tam Ky and Dalseo also consent to exchange of the officers’ management experiences. Tam Ky strives for a green city like Korean urban space “green, clean and bright”.

On this occasion, Dalseo invites representatives of Tam Ky city to participate in the marathon and other traditional performances to tighten the solidarity and friendship between the two regions.
