The Kites affirms Vietnam's sea and islands sovereignty


(QNO) - More than 100 kites with messages of Vietnam’s sea and islands sovereignty  flied in the blue sky of Cua Dai beach (Hoi An city, Quang Nam province) in the afternoon of 17 May 2014. It’s a part of the 10th Victoria Kites Festival held by Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa, with the participation of 12 Kites Clubs in the country.

Besides, many other big kites with different sizes, shapes or painted with beautiful landscapes of Vietnam also took part in the competition.

This festival was an opportunity to promote cultural, tourism and sport activities of Hoi An ancient town and Quang Nam province as well as to create a playing field for local people and tourists who love flying kites; concurrently, it helped to call all people to protect Vietnam’s sea and islands sovereignty and ecological environment.
