Hoi An has been under bad impacts of Covid-19 and natural disasters but the peaceful city is always an interesting and attractive destination. Hoi An tourism is trying to send a message of a safe tourist attraction to visitors via actions.
Right at the beginning of 2021, there are a lot of new tourism products that are aimed at attracting visitors to Hoi An. The “Wake up Hoi An” programme with over 500 lanterns takes place in the streets.
Besides, more than 20 cultural and artistic performances such as Colour Convergence, Tet fair, Banh tet festival and Gonging are held every full moon night.
Moreover, the Hoi An typical tourism products are improved to meet all the visitors to the city in the new context, including lantern decoration, Bai Choi performance, arts of writing and drawing, etc.
In addition, there are other different performance arts such as Hoi An costumes, Ao dai performance, Integration- Lighting up Hoi An show among others.Thanks to the improvement of tourism products and the safety of the destination, Hoi An has gradually been attracting more and more visitors after Covid-19.
Furthermore, the infrastructure at tourist attractions is upgraded. Hoi An is also making an effort to enlarge ecotourism and community tourism, towards sustainable tourism development.At present, the Covid-19 epidemic has been controlled in Vietnam in general and Hoi An- Quang Nam in particular. So, local tourism products have been improved to atract domestic visitors.
