An exhibition of a Vietnam in miniature

(QNO) - The painting exhibition of a Vietnam in miniature has just opened in the Museum of Cham Sculpture (Da Nang city).

The exhibition presented 20 Toba Mika’s stencils describing all parts of Vietnam through the Japanese Katazome style. Hoi An ancient town and My Son Sanctuary (Quang Nam province) were present in the exhibition.

Toba Mika is a Japanese katazome dye artist. She first came to Vietnam in 1994 and several times later. She was awarded the Medals of Honour for her contributions to the diplomatic relations between Japan and Vietnam.

It is the fifth time Toba Mika's works have been exhibited in Vietnam. The former exhibitions took place in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Hue. This exhibition will last until November 12, 2017.
