(QNO) - The event was opened in Hoi An city, Quang Nam province on the evening of April 12 with the participation of 10 famous chefs from Germany, Japan, France, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam.

The 4th International Food Festival 2019 under the theme Cao Lau Challenge lasts from 11 to 14 April. These chefs will cook Hoi An Cao Lau in their own traditional style to serve tourists.
According to Vice Chairman of the Hoi An city’s People’s Committees Nguyen Van Son, the festival is a very meaningful activity to enhance the exchange and promote the art of making Hoi An traditional dishes, especially Cao Lau- the best dish of Hoi An cuisine. It aims to highlight Hoi An tourism tradename in the world tourism market.
