In Tra Nu commune (Bac Tra My district, Quang Nam province), village elders have been invited to the propaganda against Covid-19 and the monitoring of quarantine cases in place.

One of them, village elder Pham Viet Cuong has always accompanied propagandists since the Covid-19 epidemic returned in late June, 2020.

He went to each ethnic family, using Co language to talk to Co people there, instructing them on how to wear face masks and to wash hands accurately.

According to village elder Cuong, Co people are not worried or alarmed but enthusiastic about the Covid-19 prevention and control.

Besides, Tra Nu commune has provided people with nearly 500 bars of soap and 1,700 face masks. In spirit of “Fighting the epidemic is like fighting against the enemy”, the commune has made every effort to minimize the Covid-19 spread in the community.
