Quang Nam’s awards at international photo contest 2021

(QNO) - The result of the 11th international photo contest 2021 in Vietnam has been announced by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA).

The contest was conducted under the patronages of International Federation of Photographic Art, Photographic Society of America, and Image sans Frontière.

There were 4 sections in the contest: travel, portrait, open monochrome, and open colour. “Cai nhin” (the look) by Huynh Ha from the Quang Nam Literature and Arts Association won a gold medal in portrait section.

Besides, the Quang Nam Literature and Arts Association won three honourable mention awards with ‘Niem tin’ (belief) by Phan Vu Trong, ‘Giai nhiet’ (cooling) by Phan Trong Dat, and ‘Cong viec tham lang’ (silent work) by Huynh Ha.

The International Photo Contest in Vietnam is held by VAPA every two years. In 2021, there were 16,924 works by 1518 authors from 45 countries and territories sent to the contest that was launched on March 31 and ended on July 31.
