According to Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, to achieve the goals of remote medical examination and treatment and the digitalization in public healthcare system, the inauguration of these telehealth facilities had great significance, contributing to the national digital transformation programme.

He also mentioned the humanity in healthcare when all people can use high-quality medical services, even when they are at home.

Telehealth is considered to be safe and convenient. At the same time, it gives medical staffs more chances to improve their professional knowledge and capacities.

With the main viewpoint of “examination and treatment quality reaching higher and farther”, telehealth helps improve the quality of healthcare, facilitating people’s approach to high-quality medical services and shortening the distance between different levels of healthcare.
