(QNO) - Vice Chairman of Quang Nam People’s Committee Le Van Thanh has just received the delegation of the Association of People Loving Vietnam in the Republic of Korea (VESAMO), led by Chairman Chang Ho Ick.

VESAMO was founded in Busan, South Korea in 2002. It has more than 100 members including scholars, lawyers, customers, artists, painters. VESAMO usually helps and supports Vietnamese people to South Korea. In 2015, VESAMO started to support the victims of Orange Agent/Dioxin in Vietnam. On the occasion of visiting Quang Nam, VESAMO gave a support of USD 10,000 to the victims of Orange Agent/Dioxin in Quang Nam province. In addition, VESAMO promised to act as a bridge to promote cultural exchanges and the friendship between South Korea and Vietnam in general and South Korea and Quang Nam in particular.

Vice Chairman Thanh highly appreciated the VESAMO’s helps for Quang Nam province. He hoped VESAMO to continue to support more of the poor in the province, especially the victims of Orange Agent/Dioxin to improve their lives, create favourable conditions for the Vietnamese as well as Quang Nam’s people studying and working in South Korea…
