An old village in the mountainous region

(QNO) - Loc Yen village is located in Tien Canh commune, Tien Phuoc district, Quang Nam province. In this village, people can find ancient houses with their fences and gates made of stone that lie on the side of the hills.

The village is famous not only for the old houses that were built hundreds of years ago but  also for its charming scenery with straight green areca lines.

The stone gates and fences in the village in Loc Yen are very typical and unfound in other places. It is known that the stone fences there helps to protect the village and the fields from landslide.

Besides, the ancient wells made of stone also contribute to the attraction of the village.

The stone fences, gates and wells are the pride of the residents there. So, they are preserved well.

There are about 10 old houses in Loc Yen village. They are typical of the traditional architecture of the Quang Nam ancient houses with the field view leaning against the mountain.

Loc Yen ancient village is one of four ancient villages nationwide recognized as national relics.
