(QNO) - “After carrying out a field survey, Hoi An city authority decided to enlarge tourism space in Cham Island – a World Biosphere Reserve (in Tan Hiep commune). Cham Island owning many beautiful and wild beaches such as: Bai Lang, Bai Chong, Bai Xep, Bai Huong…, but these natural potentials have not been exploited well yet. The first difficulty, however, in enlarging tourism space is the lack of power source. The current diesel power generators can supply electricity in 6 hours per day only.

Hoi An city authority asks Tan Hiep commune and relevant agencies to complete the sightseeing tour plan soon and the rest stops system in this island for investment. Some rest stops were built will be brought into operation in May 2014.
