The first visitors have just come to Hoi An after two weeks of the Covid-19 pandemic being controlled here. It is a good signal for the local tourism recovery.
Last weekend, nearly 10 foreign visitors who are living and working in Vietnam came to Hoi An city, Quang Nam province.
During 3 days staying here, they visited some local tourist attractions such as Hoi An ancient town, My Son Sanctuary and Tra Que vegetable village.
According to Director of the My Son Cultural Heritage Preservation Management Board Phan Ho, since My Son Sanctuary has reopened on September 3, it has received about 100 visitors a day.
As of September 15 when the international commercial flights between Vietnam and 6 countries and territories (Japan, South Korea, China, Laos, Cambodia and Taiwan) resumed, more visitors will come to Central Vietnam including Quang Nam province.
So, some travel businesses have built plans to create attractive tourism products such as famtrip tour, sale programs to attract more visitors.
Hopefully, Tan Thanh fishing village fair on September 19 with the participation of more than 50 stalls from provincial businesses and farmers will be an opportunity for guests to do shopping and enjoy local specialties.
