(QNO) - Two new tourism products of Tam Ky city, Ky Anh Tunnel and Tam Thanh coracle road come into operation on the occasion of the 6th Quang Nam Heritage Festival 2017.
The Ky Anh Tunnel (Tam Thang commune) is a national historical vestige, one of the three largest tunnels in the country. (Two others are Cu Chi and Vinh Moc). It is a symbol of the creativity and resilience of Tam Ky troops and people during the wars.

Ky Anh Tunnel is regarded as a significant knot of the provincial tourism development, connecting the destinations such as the Vietnamese Heroic Mother statue, Tam Thanh beach and others.
Another destination introduced to public in the 6th Quang Nam Heritage Festival 2017 is the Tam Thanh Community Arts Village, not much far from Ky Anh tunnel.
The Tam Thanh Community Arts Village is also rather attractive to visitors because it is the first mural village of the country. Besides, a road of more than 100 painted coracles is also considered charming here. It is the first collection of coracle paintings registered in Vietnam. In the future, the Tam Thanh Community Arts House will be built to store artists’ compositions for tourism development.

However, according to Vice Chairman of the Tam Ky People’s Committee Nguyen Minh Nam, it is necessary to innovate the ways and products of local tourism for sustainable development.
Tam Thanh beach, where the opening ceremony of the 6th Quang Nam Heritage Festival 2017 happens, promises to be an attractive destination not just in the period of the festival.
