Vietnam: Asia’s leading heritage, cultural and culinary destination

The 27th World Tourism Awards (WTA) has just announced Asia winners 2020 online.

Accordingly, Vietnam has been named as the Asia’s Leading Heritage Destination, Leading Cultural Destination, and Leading Culinary Destination. It is the second consecutive year Vietnam has been honoured at these categories.

According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, cultural tourism is considered as one of the Vietnam’s tourism keys. Over the past years, this tourism model has always been attractive to foreign and domestic tourists, contributing to the sustainable development of the national tourism industry.

In addition, Vietnam is also recognized as the Asia's Best Golf Destination 2020. It is the 4th consecutive year Vietnam has been honoured at this international award.

The WTA was launched in 1993 to acknowledge excellence in the travel and tourism industry.
